The 2009 ISTA-China Packaging Symposium official hotel is the 4-star Grand Holiday Hotel. It is within walking distance of the Shenzhen Polytechnic Public Training Center. The address of the hotel is 5022 Binhe Rd, Futian District, Shenzhen 518026, China.

The Grand Holiday Hotel Shenzhen is located at the heart of financial district of Shenzhen,only 5 minutes drive to Huanggang Border and Hi-Tech Exhibition Center. The hotel is 25 minutes to Shenzhen International Airport. The hotel offers a total of 289 well-appointed rooms, including 48 spacious and luxurious suites. All rooms are equipped with broadband internet access, minibar, safety box, satellite TV and IDD. Superior rooms and suites are equipped with personal computer. The Ascot Cafe serves Chinese and western cuisine. A variety of banquet and conference facilities are available with seating capacity up to 240 for conference and 160 for dining. The hotel other facilities including a business center, gymnasium and bar.

 

 

 

Making Your Hotel Reservations
Staff at ISTA-China will make your hotel reservations for you. When you register to attend the China Symposium, you will be asked which type of room accommodations you prefer. You will be responsible for payment upon arrival at the Grand Holiday Hotel.

Room Accommodation Options
1/ Shared Standard Double-bed Room for two people: ¥190 yuan RMB or $27.80 per night, per person - (includes 2 breakfasts).

NOTE: Standard Double-bed Room ¥380 yuan RMB or $55.62 per night is a Shared Room. This means two people from different companies share one double-bed room.

2/ Standard Single-bed Room for one person: ¥380 yuan RMB or $55.62 per night (includes 1 breakfast).

3/ Single-bed Suite: ¥580 yuan RMB or $84.90 per night (includes 2 breakfasts).

The check-in time at the Grand Holiday Hotel is after 7:00am. Check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Travel from the Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen
There are several options for traveling from the Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen. The ISTA staff in China highly recommends taking the bus since it is more convenient for foreigners. The people of Hong Kong speak English so you should not have any problems if you have questions or need assistance.

You can take the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Bus to arrive at the Shenzhen Huanggang Border. The bus is located at the Hong Kong Airport A-4 counter/gate/door. The bus leaves for Shenzhen every hour from 7:00am-19:00pm. The bus stops at the Shenzhen Huanggang Border at which point you will have to pass through the Shenzhen Customs. ISTA staff will pick you up at Customs and take you directly to the Grand Holiday Hotel. The other option is to take the train and ferry from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, but again, ISTA staff in China highly recommends the bus because it is more convenient for foreigners.
