What is the CPLP Workshop?
CPLP, or Certified Packaging Laboratory Professional, is an individual certification program offered by ISTA to representatives of our member companies. Although normally taken in a self-study format, the SYMPOSIUM offers the opportunity for you to take the "live" version - in a classroom setting and with an experienced instructor. This is a very effective approach, as questions can be answered directly and the material is covered thoroughly in one session.

The CPLP Technologist Workshop will be offered at a reduced rate on Tuesday, September 15, 2009.

Although the Workshop is open to everyone, the exam will be administered only to ISTA members.

NOTE: Technologist Course instructed by Mr. Han Xueshan in CHINESE ONLY. Technologist learning materials and exams are in ENGLISH. Teaching language and presentation slides are in Chinese. Please bring writing instruments, hand-held calculator to the workshop.

 

How can I get the Invitation Letter?
In order to assist foreign attendees traveling to China , we will assist with the invitation letters. Please submit your full name, title, company name and address and contact information to Li Lin lilin@packagetest.net . She will return the invitation letters to you as soon as possible.

Note: Please email Li Lin your information once your travel arrangements have been made because obtaining a Visa can take several weeks.

 

Interpretation, Laptop and Cell Phone Courtesy:
1/ Please review the program carefully; come into the conference-site on time so you can adjust to the simultaneous interpretation gadget.

2/ Please turn off your cell phones or set to vibrate while you are in the general session room. If you must leave the room to take or make a call, please try to do so at an appropriate time so you do not disturb the speaker or attendees around you.

3/ Please turn off any sounds on your laptop and keep typing to a bare minimum during presentations.

The Grand Holiday Hotel is 34.5km or 25 minutes from Shenzhen International Airport.

What is the check in and check out times at the Grand Holiday Hotel?
The check-in time at the Grand Holiday Hotel is after 7:00am. Check-out time is 12:00 noon.

 

Can guests attend the special events and receptions?
If attendee's family members (spouse and children) would like to attend the special events, we will charge them (¥880) or $118 per person, adult or child.

The (¥880) or $118 includes lunch and dinner throughout the General Session from September 16- 18 and transportation fee’s off site. It does not include breakfast.
