3. What are the rates for Registration?

Registration rates are based on membership status in ISTA and the date you register. We are offering the following:

Early Bird registration rates through August 23, 2008:
Members: ¥3000 (USD 428)

Non-Members: ¥3400 (USD 485)

Regular rates, after August 23, 2008:
Members: ¥3400 (USD 485)

Non-members:¥3800 (USD 542)

? These rates do not include hotel fees.

4. What is the CPLP Workshop?

This unique program encourages and recognizes development and excellence in packaging laboratory professionals. The CPLP workshop will be offered during the ISTA-China Packaging Symposium at a reduced rate. Both workshops will be held on October 20, 2008. Attendees can only attend one workshop, Technician or Technologist. All individuals participating in the workshop will receive a complimentary one year individual trial membership.

5. Are there deadlines of registering attendance, CPLP workshop, speech, exhibition and sponsorship?
The deadline of registering attendance will be October 15, 2008. The deadline of registering CPLP workshop will be September 10.The deadline of submitting your speech will be June 30. (Note: Speakers should submit their full text of speech, presentation slide in pdf format and present date and time before Aug. 10)The deadline of registering exhibition will be September 10. The deadline of registering sponsorship will be September 10.

6. How much is a hotel room at the West International Trade Grand Hotel?

You have the following 3 options to choose from:

1/ Standard Double-bed Room for two people: ￥ 520/night or 74USD

2/ Standard Single-bed Room for one person: ￥ 580/night or 83USD

3/ Single-bed Suite: ￥ 880/night or 126USD

7. When do I check out in West International Trade Grand Hotel?

Usually the hotel will require guests to check out before 12:00 PM. However, considering the attendees' convenience, the symposium team has negotiated with the hotel managers, so the check out time on Oct. 23, 2008 will be extended to 14:00. And this special check-out time is only available for the attendees who leave the hotel on Oct. 23, 2008.
